RECAP: McLaggon strikes late winner as Bala reduced to eight men

The Linnets suffered a loss in their first encounter of the season as The New Saints cruised to a 5-1 victory over Gavin Chesterfield’s side at Park Hall.
Bala Town, on the other hand, earned all three points as they defeated Carmarthen Town 2-1 as Steve Tames scored twice, with Henry Jones producing a sublime piece of individual skill as he performed a rabona for the striker’s first on his return to the JD Welsh Premier League after moving from AFC Flyde in the summer.
The last time these two sides met at Jenner Park, the Lakesiders came away with the spoils courtesy of Mike Hayes’ second-half strike.
