RECAP: England qualify for World Cup as Wales sweat on play-off spot

England qualified for the FIFA Women’s World Cup, at the expense of Wales.

The Dragons hadn’t conceded a goal in qualifying, up until the final game of the group.

Wales will now have to await Tuesday’s results if they are to qualify for the playoffs.

Three goals in the second half, after a goalless first 45 minutes, showed England’s superiority with Jill Scott, Nikita Parris and Toni Duggan all on the scoresheet.
