Barry continued their impressive home form last weekend by defeating Carmarthen Town 1-0 at Jenner Park courtesy of Chris Hugh’s first goal of the season.
The win meant that the Linnets have now won all five games at Jenner Park so far this season and they will be looking to make that six out of six when the bottom-placed Reds visit the Vale of Glamorgan. Andy Hill’s men have won just one game in their last eight games and two games all season and will be just as desperate to gain all three points in this evening’s clash.
These two have already met this season, with the game finishing 1-1 at Stebonheath Park, as Kayne McLaggon bagged a late equaliser for Chesterfield’s men, despite having Clayton Green sent off in the 76th minute.
