Hereford’s Welsh Premier League duo Jamie Bird and Jordan Lam, have left the Vanarama National League North side.
Bird joined Hereford last season, whilst Lam was a summer recruit, under former manager Peter Beadle.
Jamie Bird previously had a loan spell at Jenner Park, having been on the books of Cardiff City. Jordan Lam spent the last two seasons playing for Cardiff Metropolitan in the Welsh Premier League.
Tim Harris said to HerefordFC.co.uk “We’ve had a good look at all of the players since Marc and I arrived, and we both feel that it is in the best interests of Jamie and Jordan that they go and find first-team football.
“They are at an age and time in their career where they need to be playing week in week out-in-order to progress. It is a tough decision, but we want to look to do what is best for both the players and the club.
“It certainly isn’t a case of the door being slammed shut. If they can go away and get a good number of games under their belt, then the door will be open for a possible return if the circumstances are right.
“I’d like to thank both players for their efforts whilst with us, and wish them well for the future.”
Former Barry Town United midfielder Callum Sainty is still at the club but was sent out on to Mangotsfield, before being introduced into the first team.
Hereford are under the management of former Gloucester City manager Marc Richards, as well as having former Newport County man Tim Harris, as Director of Football.
