Harling returns to Old Gold
Lewis Harling has rejoined Carmarthen Town for the remainder of the season, after recovering from a long term injury.
The midfielder spent four seasons with the Old Gold, but was sidelined last season and subsequently made just nine appearances for the Welsh Premier League outfit.
The 26 year-old has been a mainstay in the Carmarthen setup for a number of years previous to his release, having amassed 76 appearances during his four year tenure with the club.
But, last season the club struggled and despite some clear changes in style under Neil Smothers, the club ended the season in the relegation zone.
However, they were given a reprieve when Bangor City failed the domestic licence after finishing the season in second place.
There has been a greater sense of optimism at the Old Gold this season, with Smothers having made significant changes to the first team makeup following his first summer in charge to make the changes he needed.
But, Harling has missed the start of the season due to a long term injury.
The midfielder has vast experience in Welsh football, having turned out for both Cardiff Grange Harlequins, and previously Port Talbot Town, when they were in the top flight of the domestic game.
But, Harling will now returned the Carmarthen first team fold under Smothers.
He will hope to make an appearance on his return this Friday, as Barry Town United travel to Richmond Park for a 7:45pm kick off.
