Struggling Llanelli Town host relegation rivals Carmarthen Town at Steboneath Park this Boxing Day.
The Reds received a heavy defeat in their last fixture before Christmas, shipping six against Bala Town. Carmarthen Town earnt a point against Newtown at Latham Park to put them six points above their A48 rivals.
A win for Llanelli Town would draw them closer to the Old Gold in the relegation battle, whilst Neil Smother’s men can create a nine-point gap over the Reds should they win at Steboneath Park.
It’s the first meeting between the two sides in five years. Llanelli were the victors at Steboneath Park. Antonio Corbisiero, Luke Bowen, Martin Rose and Ryan Bartley on target for the Reds. Carmarthen veteran Liam Thomas played in that fixture and scored a brace.
