Ynysddu Welfare player to feature on Channel 4’s ‘Celebs Go Dating’

Ynysddu Welfare’s Aaron Pewtner will appear on the first episode of the series of Channel 4’s Celebrities Go Dating this Sunday.

Celebrities like Casualty’s Chelsea Healey, Georgia Steele from ITV’s hit show Love Island, Kerry Katona and Megan McKenna off of The Only Way is Essex feature.

He can be seen in the trailer for the series, which will air every evening Sunday – Thursday for three weeks.

Celebs Go Dating is a show where a Dating Agency is set up for famous people to try their luck in finding true love. They are coached by Anna Williamson and Paul Carrick Brunson, who aim to pair the celebrities up with potential love interests.

It is the sixth series of the show and Pewtner was invited having been part of a mixer event with 29 other males to earn a date with the four female celebrities.

He was invited through Instagram, where he accumulated 10.2k followers.

Speaking of the experience, Pewtner said: “It was a great experience and I met some really good people!

“I’m excited to see how they have put it together.”

Pewtner plays for Gwent County League side Ynysddu Welfare. His brother Jack also plays for the Caerphilly-based club.

His latest appearance to date for the club was a 2-1 victory over Lliswerry in December.

This season, Pewtner has scored five goals in eight appearances for Ben Murphy’s side.
