Cardiff Met’s Rees drafted in to replace Kai Edwards

Cardiff Metropolitan defender Dylan Rees has been called up the Wales C squad, replacing Llandudno’s Kai Edwards.

Rees becomes the fifth Cardiff Metropolitan player in the squad. Adam Roscrow, Eliot Evans, Emlyn Lewis and Joel Edwards were all called up to the original squad.

Cardiff Metropolitan announced the news and congratulated him on his call-up.

He has played a total of 24 times in the JD Welsh Premier League this season and was part of the Nathaniel MG Cup winning squad.

Wales C travel to Salford City’s Peninsula Stadium (7:30 pm kick-off) on Tuesday evening to play England C in the second fixture between the two sides.
