RECAP: Ten-man Cambrian win late against Pontypridd

Live updates from The M&P Group 3G as Cambrian & Clydach Vale host Pontypridd Town in the Welsh Football League.

Cambrian & Clydach haven’t lost in the League since their defeat to runaway leaders Penybont at the KYMCO Stadium which was in September.

With just two home league defeats at the M&P Group 3G home all season, Cambrian have made their home somewhat of a fortress.

Hosts Cambrian & Clydach drew with Llantwit Major with a goal apiece last week. Players like Mike Jones and Richard French have left the club in the last few weeks.

Lee Kendall tasted defeat for the first time since taking over as Pontypridd Town manager, as they narrowly lost to Afan Lido. Before that defeat, they had won four games on the bounce, having not won more than two games in a row all season.

Manager Lee Kendall has taken charge of only one away game, which was a 4-1 win over Rhondda rivals Ton Pentre.

The last meeting between these two sides saw Cambrian edge out Pontypridd, despite being reduced to EIGHT men. Pontypridd also had a red card in a game which saw the referee brandish four red cards.
