RECAP: Cardiff Metropolitan seal Europa League play-off spot
Live updates from Cyncoed Campus this afternoon as Cardiff Metropolitan and Aberystwyth Town meet in a shootout match for the final Europa League play-off spot.
Met are a point ahead of Aberystwyth and a victory would secure a playoff spot for the third season in a row. Christian Edwards’ men have lost their last two play-off finals.
The last meeting between the two sides resulted in a 2-0 victory for Aberystwyth in February.
Should Cardiff Metropolitan win then they would likely play Caernarfon Town at The Oval, with the Cofi’s only needing a point to secure the fourth spot.
