Long-time Caernarfon Town supporter Pat Frost, who is the English national team kitman has continued to show great generosity to his club.
It was announced that Frost was to pay for a coach traveling to Caernarfon’s trip to Gwynedd rivals Bala on Friday for their final away fixture before the Europa League play-offs.
Now, Caernarfon have revealed that Pat will be paying for a further coach, covering the costs of 120 members of the passionate Cofi Army as they make the trip to Maes Tegid.
Caernarfon Town expressed their gratitude to Frost’s generous offer: “Every one of us at the club, from the Chairman to the Board of Directors, from the manager to the whole squad, wishes to thank Pat for this fantastic gesture.”
Frost explained his reasoning for supporting the Gwynedd club af
“I am originally from West Bromwich and we moved to Bontnewydd when I was three. I used to watch Caernarfon in the seventies and we would often walk from the village to the Oval, which was only about two miles or so away.
“Although I moved from the area at the age of ten I have always followed the team and it’s been great to see us doing so well in our first season back in the Welsh Premier League.
“I also support West Bromwich Albion but whenever they don’t play and the Cofis have a match, then I do my best to be there.”
Frost will be in attendace alongside the passionate Cofi Army as they celebrate their first season back in the Welsh Premier League.
Should Caernarfon Town get a point against the Lakesiders, then they will be at home at The Oval for the Europa League semi-final against seventh-placed Cardiff Metropolitan.
