RECAP: Cardiff Metropolitan qualify for Europa League after beating Bala on penalties

Bala Town and Cardiff Metropolitan meet in the Europa League playoff final at Maes Tegid.

For the first time in five years, the Lakesiders will have to qualify via the playoffs, whilst Cardiff Metropolitan are in their third consecutive final.

The Archers have lost their last two finals by the one goal, with all finals being away in North Wales.

Each side recorded a 3-0 home win over each other in the regular season. The Met did get a Welsh Cup Quarter-Final victory over Bala in March.

  1. I went to this game (Bala V Cardiff MU, Europa League Play Off), but can find it published what the attendance figure was at the game. Does anyone know? Many Thanks.
