John Littlemore is Sion Eifion’s first signing
Porthmadog manager Sion Eifion has made his first signing of the summer in the form of striker John Littlemore.
Littlemore joins the Gwynedd club after leaving Holyhead Hotspur, who were relegated from the Cymru Alliance last season.
The 24-year-old is Sion Eifion’s first signing since being appointed manager of CPD Porthmadog.
Commenting on the addition of Littlemore, Porthmadog manager Sion Eifion said:“I’m delighted that John has committed to Port for the coming season.
“John is someone that I’ve always thought would be a great fit at Port, simply because of his work ethic and honesty as a player.
“He’s young, hungry to win and someone that can grow with the club in the coming years. I’m sure he’ll give everything to the shirt and look forward to seeing him at the Traeth next season.”
In his first season he scored total of 25 times for Holyhead, scoring 11 goals for the club. He was unable to recapture his form in the second season, scoring twice in 22 outings.
Before moving to Holyhead, Littlemore was part of the Cardiff Metropolitan side which finished 6th in their first Welsh Premier League season. He scored once in 19 appearances for the Archers.
Sion Parry has also been promoted to the senior squad having assisted Eifion in the Reserves.
Josh Banks has returned to the club from Pwllheli
Iddon Price, Ioan lewis, Rob Evans, Paul Pritchard and brothers Ifan Emlyn and Tomos Emlyn have all committed to the club.
