The Cefn Druids have revealed their bespoke home and away kits for the 2019/20 season.
Both kits featured the clubs main shirt sponsor Wrexham Lager, for a second consecutive Eason, with Johnstown & Ruabon Tyre Service continuing to sponsor the shirts.
In their continued partnership with Errea Sport & Total Teamwear UK, the Cefn Druids have modernised two famous kits, in both the clubs and the national teams history.
The Cefn Druids say: “The Home kit is inspired by the history of our club and retains the famous Black and White stripes of the Druids while modernising the look, the introduction of the Red collar reflects the on the clubs original strip way back in 1872 which featured black and red striped socks.
Embed from Getty ImagesThe Druids have released an away strip similar to a memorable Admiral manufactured Wales’ home kit worn in the late 1970s.
The away strip is predominantly red and features a yellow and green lines, reminiscent of a Wales home kit which is popular amongst Red Wall supporters.
The Druids describe the inspiration from their away kit:
“The away kit moves away from the previous Blue and celebrates the historic ties between the Welsh National Team and the club.
“Llewelyn Kenrick who founded Druids in 1872 went on to found the Football Association of Wales in 1876 forever linking the two organisations.”
The shirts are now available to buy. Each is priced at £39.50.
