Andy Owens and Jordan Evans have remained in the Welsh Premier League by joining Airbus UK Broughton.
The pair are Airbus UK Broughton’s first new signings since being promoted back to the JD Welsh Premier League.
Andy Owens joins having been released by the Connah’s Quay Nomads, whilst Jordan Evans joins from the Cefn Druids.
Former Fulham player Jordan Evans made 24 appearances for the Druids last season, scoring four goals. He also featured in both legs of the Druids’ narrow Europa League defeat to Lithuanian side FK Trakai.
Andy Owens had been at the Nomads for 18 months and was a Welsh Cup winner. During his time at Deeside, he was on target nine times this season in 27 appearances.
As well as the additions of Owens and Evans, Airbus have retained the services of a number of players. Brady McGilloway, Curtis Strong,Dave Roberts, James Hooper, Joe Palmer, Kristian Platt,Ryan Edwards, Sam Hart and Steve Tomassen have all committed to the club as they prepare for life back in the Welsh top flight.
The Wingmakers lost five players following their promotion. Forward Asa Hamilton to FAW Championship side Rhyl along with Joe Chaplin who has moved to Colwyn Bay. Leo Riley has moved to Welsh Premier League rivals Aberystwyth, Lewis Buckley has moved to the English non-league scene.
Phil Clarke and Nathan Quirk have yet to sign for a new team.
