Former Cardiff City striker Craig Bellamy set to join Vincent Kompany at Anderlecht – reports
Former Cardiff City striker Craig Bellamy looks set to join his former Manchester City teammate Vincent Kompany at Anderlecht after leaving his coaching role in Cardiff.
Bellamy, 39, left his coaching role within Cardiff City’s youth academy earlier this year.
The Welshman will now reportedly take a new lease of life as he heads to Belgium to join ex-Manchester City teammate and Premier League title winner, Vincent Kompany according to The Sun.
Kompany took up the role of Anderlecht boss after winning his fourth league title with Manchester City last month. Bellamy has reportedly remained in contact with the Belgian defender after a two-year spell at City, and the pair will have a job at their hands.

A drastic overhaul will be needed at Belgium’s top club and Kompany and 39-year-old Bellamy have been given the go ahead to oversee the cause.
Bellamy posed for a picture with David Steegan – the PR director of Anderlecht – who posted it on his Instagram page with the message: “My new colleague.”
