Ammanford sign young winger Tristan Jenkins
Tristan Jenkins has become Ammanford’s second signing of the summer.
The young winger joins from recently relegated Llanelli Town.
He joins marquee signing Lee Trundle as as the second summer addition to Gruff Harrison’s squad.
Ammanford’s newest addition Jenkins said: “I’m delighted to have joined the club, I’m looking forward to playing with a different group of players. I can’t wait to get started.”
Boars boss Gruff Harrison commented: “Delighted to bring Tristan into the club. He fits all the characteristics we are looking for in a player. He is young and hungry with great quality, which is the perfect mixture.”
Having made his debut in the Welsh top flight last season, Jenkins has opted for a new club for the 2019/2020 season. Away from his club, he was in the 18-man squad for the Welsh College’s Under 18s.
Jenkins made a total of 17 appearances last season, scoring once. A majority of his outings were off of the substitutes bench, coming on a total of 12 times.
