Barry Town United and Cardiff Metropolitan could face Scottish Premier League duo Aberdeen and Rangers, it has been revealed.

UEFA have grouped all four Welsh Premier League teams for the draw tomorrow.

Both South Walian sides like Connah’s Quay, will be unseeded, should they qualify for the next round. This leaves them playing against tougher opposition.

The Round One qualifying draw will take place tomorrow at 14:30 with all three WPL teams involved in the draw.

Should Barry and Met qualify for Round One, then they will play on the 11th July and the 18th July.

If Barry Town United navigate past NIFL Premiership side Cliftonville, then they face another possible all-British tie against Aberdeen.

Gavin Chesterfield’s side could also come up against Dinamo Minsk (Belarus), Haugesund (Norway), Norrköping (Sweden), FK Riteriai (Lithuania) and Stjarnan from Iceland.

For Cardiff Met, should they beat FC Progrès Niederkorn, then they have two possible all-British ties. The most enticing would be against Steven Gerrard’s Rangers from Scotland, whilst the Crusaders from the NIFL Premiership are also a possibility.

Brondby (Denmark), Cork (Ireland) and Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s former side Molde FK are also a possibility.
