CPD Porthmadog have signed Ynys Môn forward Melvin McGinness from Holyhead Hotspur.
The 29-year-old was named Huws Gray Alliance League Player of the Year last season for his performances.
Ynys Môn won the Inter-Island games for the first time in 20 years, after Melvin McGinness strike against Guernsey. He netted three times in four outings for the Island.
McGinness was previously a youth academy product of Bangor City. He links up with Ynys Môn teammate John Littlemore, who joined earlier this summer.
“He’s really eager to get his head down and work hard to get his place in the team this season.
Manager Sion Eifion said: “We’re all delighted that Mel has decided to join us for the coming season.
“He joins us after a fantastic week at the Island Games which will no doubt give him great confidence going into the new season.
“He’s a proven goalscorer at this level who is a nightmare for any defender. I’m sure he’ll grow to be a favourite with the Port faithful!
McGinness was previously a youth academy product of Bangor City. He later moved to Holyhead Hotspur, where has been prolific.
Ilan ap Gareth has also joined CPD Porthmadog from Welsh Premier League side Cefn Druids.
He arrives at Y Traeth, having had a loan spell with Porthmadog last season.
Manager Sion Eifion said upon Sap Gareth’s return: “I think he’ll be a great asset for the club for many years to come and we all look forward to see him grow with the club over the next few years.
“Ilan has so much ability on the ball and has already played Welsh Prem football at such a young age so it’s exciting to get him signed for Port.
“He’s really eager to get his head down and work hard to get his place in the team this season.”
