RECAP: Cardiff knocked out of Europa League on away goals after Progrès victory

Live updates from Leckwith Stadium as Cardiff Metropolitan hope to overcome their first leg defeat to Progrès Niederkorn.

Mayron De Almeida’s 62nd minute header is what separates the two sides.

It is the first time in 20 years that a male Cardiff based team will have played European football on home soil.

Progrès have seen the likes of Charley Schinker, Marvin Martins and Mario Mutsch depart for other countries. Dino Ramdedovic and David Soarer have also left.

Neither of the players played in the first leg victory over Cardiff Met.

The winner of the tie will play League of Ireland side Cork City in the next round.
