The Scotsman made several appearances for the Lakesiders in pre-season before the club decided to make his addition permanent.
Leslie is an experienced footballer having played for the likes of Hereford United, Wrexham and AFC Telford.
He spent the majority of his career with Shrewsbury Town and made over 100 appearances for the English side after coming through their youth ranks.
As of July 10, Leslie was in German website Transfermark’t most valuable Welsh Premier League XI at £90,000.
He was recently usurped, however, by new teammate Lee Molyneux (£135,000), who recently arrived at Maes Tegid from National League outfit Barrow.

The former Worcester City man still resides in Shrewsbury.
The 31-year-old also has experience outside of the UK, having spent time in Australia as a coach.
He will wear the number 15 shirt for Colin Caton’s side, and will begin his second season as a player in the Welsh Premier League.
The Lakesiders get their JD Cymru Premier campaign underway against newly-promoted Airbus UK on August 16.
