Gareth Bale dreams of Manchester United move – reports
Gareth Bale wants a move back to the Premier League with Manchester United.
That’s what’s being reported by Spanish outlet Marca, who say that it is ‘his own dream’ to be with Manchester United.
Real Madrid are expected to negotiate a move with United for midfielder Paul Pogba and it had previously been suggested that Bale could be a makeshift in a possible deal for the World Cup-winning midfielder.
Real Madrid pulled out of Bale’s proposed move to Jiangsu Suning on Sunday.
Jiangsu Suning’s pursuit of the Welshman has come to a permanent end.The Chinese Super League club signed Ivan Santini from Anderlecht, meaning their foreign-quota of four players has been filled.
A move to a different Chinese club could happen, however, they have a short deadline of just two days to get a deal done. Beijing Guoan were said to be interested according to the Express.
The Premier League transfer window shuts in ten days.
Tottenham Hotspur had been said to be interested in re-signing the Welshman after selling him for a world record fee of £85.1m in 2016, but would be unable to offer him the financial package that Suning put on the table.
Having been deemed out of favour by manager Zinedine Zidane, Bale’s agent Jonathan Barnett spoke of the relationship between the player and manager.
Barnett said to Journal du Dimanche about Zidane’s relationship with Bale:
“It’s simple, Zidane doesn’t like Gareth.
“There’s no relationship between them. There never has been.”
