New Saints drop into Europa League after Copenhagen elimination
The New Saints will play in the Europa League after being knocked out by FC København.
TNS bowed out of Europe’s top tier competition after they were unable to overturn a two-goal first-leg defeat.
Greek international Zeca scored the only goal which separated the two sides in the 52nd minute.
They await the winner of the Round Two Champions path tie between Knattspyrnufélagið Valur of Iceland and Ludogorets Razgrad of Bulgaria.
The New Saints are scheduled to play away from home first, before playing their home leg. TNS will have to play at an alternate venue, away from Park Hall for their home leg.
