Aberystwyth Town goalkeeper Terry McCormick has announced his retirement.
The 35-year-old started his career as a trainee at Tranmere Rovers and also played for the Connah’s Quay Nomads during his 22-year career.
McCormick marked the end of his career by featuring in Aberystwyth’s 3-2 opening day victory over Carmarthen Town.
“Nearly 15 years, fair few hundred games, 6 clubs and that is finally that,” said McCormick.
“I’m glad to have helped Aber out for a couple of weeks but it’s well and truly time to hang them up.
“All the best to old teams and teammates for the coming season.”
He arrived at Aberystwyth Town, following a return to Welsh football last summer from Northern English side Ashville.
