Ryan Betteney: AFC Porth manager resigns from post

AFC Porth manager Ryan Betteney has resigned from his position at the Rhondda club.

Porth are without a point this season, having lost all four league games.

They sit bottom of Division One, having shipped 21 goals.

Their next fixture is against Albion Rovers at Kimberely Park on the 28th September.

“We have accepted the resignation of Ryan Betteney,” said a club spokesperson.

“We would like to place on record our thanks to Ryan for his efforts and commitment.

“We’d like to wish him well for the future.”

Former Ton Pentre youth boss Betteney’s s final game in charge was a 5-0 defeat by Chepstow Town on September 7. 

Betteney managed the club from November 2017, where he oversaw a relegation to the fourth tier.
