Liverpool legend John Barnes has been linked with the vacant hot seat Bangor City.
The North Wales club are on the lookout for a new manager following the departure of Stephen Vaughan Jnr.
The North Wales Chronicle claims that 55-year-old is a candidate for the role.
Barnes last managed a decade ago, during a brief stint with Tranmere Rovers.
He was capped 79 times at international level with England, before managing Jamaica.
The former England international was must successful with Celtic as a manager, winning 19 of his 29 games.
The Citizens are currently in 11th in the Cymru North league.
