Mark Pike has added faces to his Port Talbot Town squad.

Tom Neville arrives after leaving Cymru South side Cwmbran Celtic, where he scored just once.

Nico Watkins joins from Division One rivals Ton Pentre, having played for the youth team of Port Talbot.

Pike told his club website: “Tom is an energetic forward who will bolster the current strike force – Tom comes with a wealth of experience playing in the Championship this year and also gaining valuable experience in the Welsh League system.”

“He’s a powerful left-footed striker and we look forward to developing his game further in his time here at Port Talbot.

“I’m delighted to have him on board,” said the Port Talbot Town boss.

They are joined in Mark Pike’s squad by returning trio Daniel James, Matthew Beynon and Wyn Walters.

James rejoins Port Talbot having been part of the academy system, before spending time at Afan Lido and Baglan Dragons.

“Daniel is a valuable signing and experienced goalkeeper and certainly a player we require alongside James Harris between the posts,” added Pike.

The 25-year-old goalkeeper will work closely with Wyn Walters, who has joined as goalkeeping coach. Walters was a stand-in goalkeeper most recently for the club.

Beynon returns to Victoria Road having been part of Town rivals Trefelin’s promotion to Division One.

Manager Mark Pike described beyond as “a centre back with great experience and a commanding knowledge of the game.

“It will be great to have him available on a regular basis and will strengthen our defence.”
