RECAP: Wales hold group leaders Croatia to draw

Wales welcome Group E leaders Croatia to the Cardiff City Stadium in a crucial Euro 2020 Qualifier.
Ryan Giggs’ side go into the game off the back of a 1-1 draw with Slovakia, whilst Croatia beat Hungary 3-0.
A victory for the 2018 World Cup finalists would see them secure an automatic spot for the European Championships next summer.
Croatia defeated Wales in the summer in Rijeka. A James Lawrence own-goal, as well as Ivan Perisic’s 48th-minute strike gave Zlatko Dalić’s the victory, despite David Brooks’ late effort.
Wales have never beaten Croatia on the international stage, losing four times out of five, with a 1-1 friendly draw in 2002 being the best result.
