Aberdare Town: Seven new players join as Evans assembles squad
Aberdare Town agree the signings of seven new players after the appointment of Josh Evans.
Aaron Tyner, Aarran Caffell, Callum Tandy, Craig Reddy, Gethyn Jones, Jack Stait and Jordan Davies have all put pen to paper at Aberaman Park.
Defender Davies and midfielder Jones rejoin the club having previously featured for Aberdare.
Experienced midfielder Reddy follows Davies from South Wales Alliance League outfit Merthyr Saints. He joins the backroom staff as a player-coach. Reddy holds previous managerial experience with Treharris Athletic Western.
Winger Tandy joins from Welsh League rivals Treharris. Jack Stait has also moved from a divisional rival, moving from Treowen Stars.
Defender Aaron Tyner arrives having had playing experience with Barry Town United and Merthyr Town.
Arran Caffell joins from Aberfan Social having been a pivotal part of last season’s promotion-winning season from the Alliance League.
Evans has also added ‘experienced figure’ Colin Reddy to his backroom staff, by appointing him as assistant manager.
