Real Madrid are reportedly interested in signing Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling by offering them money plus Welsh star Gareth Bale.
Sky Sports News have reported that Sterling is a priority signing for the La Liga giants and are willing to use Bale as a weight in the deal for the 24-year-old England international.
The report says Madrid are offering £70m plus Gareth Bale, who was previously the most expensive player in the world.
The Daily Mail says that Manchester City have no interest in letting Sterling leave.
A representative of Bale distanced themselves from the move after a comment to talkSPORT: “With regards to that story running on Bale, Raheem Sterling and £70m – complete rubbish.”
Spanish outlet Cadena Der report that Bale will force a move from Madrid in the January transfer window.
The 30-year-old has featured for Madrid seven times this season, scoring two goals and assisting on two occasions.
Bale hasn’t featured for Real Madrid since picking up an injury in Wales’ 1-1 draw with Croatia on October 13.
