Ryan Giggs says star duo Aaron Ramsey and Gareth Bale are ready to start in Wales’ crunch Euro 2020 qualifier with Hungary.

Wales are a victory away from qualifying for the Championships which will be hosted across the European continent.

Bale, 30, played an hour in the 2-0 win over Azerbaijan on Saturday.

He was replaced by Ramsey who made his first appearance of the campaign after being ruled out of a number of games due to injury.

“Bale and Ramsey are both ready to start,” revealed Giggs to SkySports.

“We were able to get Gareth off and it was important to get Aaron on the pitch. Everyone in the squad is available to start.”

“The lads who go minutes needed minutes. It’s a bit of a balancing act, the players I know who can’t play 90 minutes – that will obviously influence the selection.

“Chris Mepham and Ethan Ampadu, all players who haven’t had an awful lot of football got the minutes they needed.”

Giggs has been given a selection headache in central midfield following the glittering performance of Joe Morrell on Saturday.

Stoke City midfielder Joe Allen is eligible to play after serving a one-match suspension, with the Wales boss now tasked with selecting a side capable of beating Hungary.

Giggs said: “You have to weigh up all the situations and then go with what you feel is right,”

“You don’t always get it right. It was a difficult decision because of the quality certain players bring.

“We have to look at the overall picture with the amount of minutes being played.

“It’s also not easy with us having half an eye on Tuesday as well. It worked out well for us in the end but it’s not easy.”
