Former Llanelli boss Legg leaves role as Cardiff City under-23s manager
Former Llanelli Town player-manager Andy Legg has today left his role as Cardiff City under-23s boss, as part of an academy shake-up.
The 53-year-old leaves the Bluebirds after just over two years with the academy set-up, having arrived in July 2017.
Legg played over 600 games in the Football League, with more than half of those appearances coming from his time with Swansea City (163) and Cardiff (175).
The former left-back also played six times for Wales between 1996 and 2001, before moving to Stebonheath Park to join up with the Reds in 2006.
He was part of the Llanelli team that won the 2007-08 Welsh Premier League title, finishing seven points clear of full-time side The New Saints.
It has been confirmed that Tom Ramasut, the former Cambrian and Clydach Vale manager, will take over the reins on a temporary basis.
The 42-year-old is an ex-Cymru Premier player himself, having had spells with Llanelli, Haverfordwest County, Barry Town United and Carmarthen Town.
