Midfielders Keenan Patten and Sion Spence have returned to Cardiff City from Penybont and Barry Town after their loan spell at their clubs ended.
The pair joined their respective Cymru Premier sides in August on the basis of a six-month loan.
Patten and Spence appeared for Cardiff City U23’s on Monday afternoon in their 2-1 victory over Colchester United.
“Thank you, Sion, for your efforts and we wish you nothing but the best of luck going forward,” a club statement from Barry said.
Spence made 13 appearances for Barry Town United, like Patten, Spence scored one goal for his club.
During his loan spell with Barry, Spence was called up to Wales Under-21 squad for a qualifier against Moldova.
George Ratcliffe, another Cardiff loanee remains at Jenner Park for at least until the end of Phase One.
The 19-year-old has been an unused substitute in recent matches.
Returning to Cardiff, Patten made 12 appearances for Penybont during his time at the SDM Glass Stadium, scoring one goal.
His last Cymru Premier appearance before his departure came on November 30.
“Keenan’s loan came to an end in December and he returned to his parent club,” said a club statement from Penybont.
“We would like to go on record and say many thanks to Keenan for his time at Penybont and we hope he has a fantastic career with Cardiff City.”
