Penybont: Eli Phipps and Lewis Harling move to Boot

Penybont have completed the additions of Eli Phipps and Lewis Harling.

Harling and Phipps move from Carmarthen Town and Barry Town United respectively.

Phipps moves to Penybont on loan until the end of the season after joining Barry in the summer.

The 22-year-old made 14 appearances for Barry this season but made most outings as a substitute.

“Eli is a valued member of our squad, but has found himself lacking playing opportunities of late,” said Barry manager Gavin Chesterfield to BarryTownFC.co.uk.

“His attitude and talent deserve a platform and this loan move to Penybont provides him with a great opportunity to display these qualities.

“Naturally, I hope it goes well for both parties.”

Harling moves from Penybont’s relegation rivals Carmarthen Town after making 19 appearances at the Richmond Park club.

Phipps was an unused substitute in Penybont’s 1-0 defeat to Aberystwyth Town.

Harling was introduced as a substitute for James Saddler in the 63rd minute.

Leaving Penybont is Adam Carpenter who has moved to Pencoed Athletic. Cullen Kinsella and Luke Borrelli have headed for the Cymru South with Kinsella moving to Goytre United and Borrelli has moved to Ammanford.
