Welsh Cup quarter-final: Cymru North side guaranteed to compete in semi-final

The Welsh Cup semi-final will be contested by a second tier side after Flint Town United drew Prestatyn Town. 

The Silkmen haven’t been in the quarter-finals since 2014, having lost to then lower league Barry Town United. 

Cup holders The New Saints are at home for a third consecutive tie where they will welcome Newtown. 

Caernarfon Town will hope to make their first semi-final since 2017. 

Last season’s losing finalists Connah’s Quay will welcome Cardiff Met, who they defeated at Latham Park in the semi-final last season. 

Ties are to be played over the weekend of 28th February to 1st March.
