Cambrian & Clydach Vale have completed the signing of Merthyr Town forward Ryan Prosser.
The 30-year-old returns to Cambrian having previously played in the Welsh system for the Sky Blues, Llantwit Fardre and Ton Pentre.
Prosser had played for Merthyr Town since their inception in 2010, scoring 170 goals in 350 appearances.
During his time at Penydarren Park, they won numerous Western League titles and the Evo-Stik Southern League South.
“After 10 successful and enjoyable years at Merthyr Tydfil FC I felt at this stage of my career a fresh challenge was needed,” said Cambrian’s newest addition.
“I can’t thank everyone at Merthyr enough for my time there. I now look forward to helping Cambrian & Clydach Vale BGC over the coming seasons and hopefully I can help fire us to the top tier of Welsh Football.”
Prosser’s new manager Dane Williams expressed his delight in securing his services: “I am over the moon to have Ryan with us at the club.
“He is a player we have wanted for a long time.
“His experience and undoubted ability to score goals will be a massive boost for us all.”
The former Martyrs striker could make his second Cambrian debut against Cwmbran Celtic on Saturday.
