Huw Griffiths: Former Druids boss named First Team Manager of Cofis
by Jordan Jones and Tom Pritchard
On the same day that his contract with Cefn Druids was terminated, Huw Griffiths has been announced as the new First Team Manager of Caernarfon Town.
The club have announced that Griffiths, who was named Cymru Premier manager of the season in 2018, will begin in his new role with immediate effect.
Sean Eardley will remain as part of the coaching staff, with the former manager supporting Griffiths as his assistant.
Paul Evans, the interim chairman, made clear his delight that the experienced Griffiths has agreed to join the Oval outfit.
“We’re all excited by Huw’s arrival and want to make it clear that the appointment was made with the full blessing of Sean Eardley, who has, and will continue to be, a major figure in the club.
“Huw will bring added experience to the management team and will work within our remit of securing that the best local players wear the yellow shirt.
“We are all looking forward to working with Huw and welcome him to the Oval.”
Griffiths’ first game in charge will be at home to Bala Town next Friday, in the first televised game of Phase Two.
