The time Marcus Rashford and Joe Gomez played at Port Talbot
Remember the time Joe Gomez and Marcus Rashford came to town in Port Talbot?
Eagle-eyed viewers were quick to point out that the picture Rashford had posted was at the home of Port Talbot Town.
Marcus Rashford reminisced of his England youth days as he posted a photo from 2012.
The Manchester United star played in a Victory Shield match for the Three Lions as they defeated Wales.
Playing alongside Rashford at the home of the Steelmen were a number of familiar names.
Champions League winner Joe Gomez was also on the team sheet for England.
On-loan Sheffield United goalkeeper Dean Henderson also was between the sticks, as well as Dominic Solanke and Joshua Onomah.
Interestingly, Rashford also came up against a future teammate.
A young Daniel James featured for Wales that evening. He was captained by fellow Wales compatriot Joe Morrell.

He has also become a vital player for Manchester United, scoring 19 goals in 31 appearances this season.

It’s not the first time Victoria Road has welcomed international stars.
In January 2018, Jurgen Klopp and his squad trained on the pitch ahead of a Premier League game with Swansea City.
Mohamed Salah, Robert Firmino and Virgil Van Dijk all graced the Welsh League side’s playing surface.
