Cymru Premier captain sets up fundraiser for NHS Wales
Aberystwyth Town skipper Marc Williams has set up a fundraiser to support the NHS during the Coronavirus pandemic.
Williams, 31, has set up a JustGiving page which offers financial support to the NHS and is supported by the Swansea Bay Health Charity.
‘Support NHS Wales’ is a NHS Wales Health board campaign ran by the Swansea Bay Health Charity.
The fundraiser has been set up to fund additional items that ‘go over and above’ what the NHS is providing.

Announcing the fundraiser on Twitter, the former Wales U21 international said: “I’ve decided to set up a fundraiser towards NHS Wales, so our Welsh football family can come together and support our health service. It needs our help more than ever right now.
“If you can spare anything at all, please consider donating below. Thank you!”
£2297 has been raised so far, which is 90% of the £2,5000 target which has been set.
A donation of £460 has been made by the players and staff of Cymru Premier side Airbus UK.
Barry Town United players and staff have donated £422 to the cause.
Other donations include former Colwyn Bay teammate Joe Chaplin, Caernarfon boss Sean Eardley and Mark Orme.
The decision to set up the fundraiser also drew praise from Barry Town United manager Gavin Chesterfield who said: “Fantastic idea & initiative. Well done.”
Donations can be made to the fundraiser by donating to the JustGiving page set up by Williams.
