Cogan Coronation show appreciation to NHS through appreciative campaign

Cogan Coronation have shown their appreciation to NHS workers through a series of donations.

The sixth-tier club have provided Easter Eggs, Pizza and money donations to the community.

More than fifty eggs have been distributed by the club as they highlight the importance of those working on the frontline during the Coronavirus pandemic.

It is a campaign which has attracted the attention of a current Wales international.

With every donation is a message from the club: “We just want to say a huge thank you for everything you are doing to keep us and the local community safe.”

Dean Ford, the creator of the campaign explained how it came about: “I really wanted to help in some way and thought that we have a local football club which I am heavily involved in which has a lot of parents, carers who are facing this situation face on in a number of different roles.

“I just thought that if we as a Club can collect a few Easter Eggs & distribute them out over Easter weekend to put a smile on a few faces and to just say thank you for keeping our community running then that’s the least I could do.”

The campaign has also been supported by Cardiff City and Wales International Will Vaulks.

Vaulks provided the South Wales Alliance League club with a cash donation to go towards NHS workers.

Further donations have come from Aldi and Dominis Pizza with the club encouraging for more as an appreciation for the current workers.
