Croesyceiliog announce new-look management team
Croesyceiliog have announced changes to their first-team management staff for the 2020/2021 season.
Nicky Church joins the club after departing Gwent Premier Division outfit Cwmbrân Town. Della Cheedy has also moved to Woodland Road from the Crows.
Church takes up the role as first-team joint-manager alongside Chris Evans who returns to the club.
Evans was manager at Croesyceiliog when the club were promoted to the Welsh League Division One following back-to-back promotions.
Announcing the appointments on social media, a statement said: “The club have been working behind the scenes to get a number of things in place ahead of when we can get back to play football club.
“One of these was a change in club structure within the management set up and the club will the long term aim of gaining our Tier Two licence and reach on the field Cymru South level.
“We would like to announce the following and what is probably the most experienced set we have ever had.”
Mike Colocombe and Mark Alcock have also joined the trio as assistant first team coaches. Colcombe joined the first-team setup from his role as reserves manager last season.
Marc Porter remains with Colcombe on the coaching staff.
Another addition to the staff is Gareth Giriffiths who takes up the role as first aider.
Making up a new look development team is John Bailey, Pat O’Hagan, Chris Watkins and Noah Hobbs.
