Bala Town have announced the signing of Cardiff Metropolitan’s Will Evans.
The 22-year-old moves to the Lakesiders after a number of years of service at Cyncoed Campus.
Evans scored seven goals in 20 appearances this season, earning a Wales C call-up.
“We are really pleased to get Will. He has been at Cardiff Met University for a number of years now and played against us on a number of occasions and been a player that I’ve really, really admired.
It has been rumoured over the last few years that he’d be moving back to Welshpool and he hasn’t come.
“We’d always be interested when he moved home and he has moved home now and looking to go into a teaching job in the next few months. So he’s looking to sort his career out and obviously, he’s a great addition to the squad.“
