Welsh clubs will compete in one-legged playoffs when qualifying for the Champions League and Europa League begins this summer.

Bala, Barry Town United, Connah’s Quay and The New Saints will all play in one-legged matches as they aim to progress to Europe’s two domestic competitions.

The format has been revised in order to avoid any impact on clubs participating in European competitions.

Due to the games being one-legged, the draw will decide who will hold home advantage.

The Nomads who are entering the Champions League for the first time will enter on either the 18th or 19th August in the first qualifying round.

Andy Morrison’s side could compete in a two-legged play-off should they reach the Champions League play-off.

First qualifying round: 18/19 August

Second qualifying round: 25/26 August

Third qualifying round: 15/16 September

Play-offs: 22/23 and 29/30 September
