Guilsfield: Nathan Leonard returns to Clos Mytton
Nathan Leonard has re-joined Cymru North side Guilsfield’s management team following his resignation from FC Oswestry Town.
Leonard had previously been named manager of the Guils prior to the 2017-2018 season, but left the club to join Oswestry in November 2019.
He returns to Clos Mytton after just seven months away. Leonard links up with manager Bernie Jones.

A short statement on the club’s social media read that, “Guilsfield FC are pleased to announce Nathan Leonard will return and rejoin the management team from next season,”
“He will have the utmost support from everyone involved with the club and we look forward to a really exciting season ahead of us.”
Upon his return, Leonard said, “It is great to be back at the club and thankful to be given the opportunity again by the Chairman and commitee,”
”It was a no brainer to come back once I got the call after leaving Oswestry Town. I’ve got a lot of friends here and the dressing room is like no other. I’ve missed that massively,” he added.
Ahead of the 2020-2021 season, Leonard vows that “we will work our socks off pre-season to make sure we get off to a great start whenever that will be. The aim is to maintain our top six status and win some silverware.”
Not just content with just adding Leonard, manager Bernie Jones has added Calum Williams to his coaching staff.
The coach has had experience with the academies of Shrewsbury Town and The New Saints, along with St Martins.
The Guils finished the 2019-2020 season in third with 2.09 points per game, having recorded 46 points in 22 games.
