Carmarthen Town have announced that Antonio Facciuto and Tom Dyson have joined the club as they prepare to make an instant return to the JD Cymru Premier.
The news comes after Kristian O’Leary agreed to stay on with the club, who were relegated from the top flight last season, as first team manager.
The additions add a blend of experience in the top levels of English football. Facciuto was on Cardiff City’s books before being released by the club, while Dyson spent time at Hull City and Swansea City.
The 29-year-old Facciuto – a Welsh international at both Under-16 and Under-18 level – said he is looking forward to getting started in Carmarthen’s promotion push.
“It is an honour to sign for a club like Carmarthen and work under Kris and Sean,” Facciuto said.
“I’m looking forward to getting started, working hard and hopefully pushing Carmarthen back to the top-flight.”
Former Haverfordwest County midfielder Dyson is also focused on getting the Old Gold back to the top level of Welsh football.
“I’m gutted with the news about Carmarthen getting relegated the way they did,” Dyson said.
“However, I’m glad to sign for a great club and hopefully help get promotion back to the Welsh Premier.”
