Welsh goalkeeper David Cornell is reportedly attracting interest from three EFL clubs.
Cornell will be on the lookout for a new club this summer after his contract expired with League Two play-off winners Northampton.
The Daily Mail report that Birmingham, Derby and Ipswich are all keeping tabs on the former Swansea goalkeeper.
All three clubs are looking for goalkeeping reinforcements this summer and Cornell could be an option for them all to consider.
Commenting on Cornell’s departure from the East Midlands outfit, manager Keith Curle said to the Northampton Chronicle: “Without going into the details, in my opinion, Dai needed a new challenge
“That’s a conversation I had with him and fair play to him because a lot of things we spoke about, he agreed with.
“Potentially, Dai could go and play at a higher level and compete at a higher level but I think the timing was right for him as an individual to go and test himself in new surroundings.”
The 29-year-old was pivotal in helping The Cobblers to promotion this season.
Cornell, who spent four years at Sixfields, kept the second-highest amount of clean sheets in League Two this past campaign.
Prior to his departure from Northampton, he was supposedly close to a Wales call-up this year.
