Cefn Druids have provided an update in their search of a new Head Coach.
The JD Cymru Premier club are still looking for a replacement after they parted company with Stuart Gelling, a short-term replacement for Huw Griffiths.
In the latest movement from The Rock, LeaderLive have linked Nilton Terroso as a rumoured target for the Ancients.
The 40-year-old is currently the Head Coach of Portugal side Olhanense and is a UEFA A Licence holder.
Terroso is no stranger to Wales having been a Performance Coaching and Analysis student at the University of South Wales.
From his time a the University, he was able to secure a number of roles with Cardiff City, working under Malky Mackay and Ole Gunnar Solskjær.
However the club have commented on the reports by saying: “We would like to confirm that we are currently in talks with two candidates and have been for a few months regarding the Head Coach vacancy.
“As soon as we have concluded the deal we will announce it to our fans.”
In another report from LeaderLive, the club say they are in talks with a number of transfer targets.
Marco Correira De Oliviera, the Director of international recruitment for the Druids has been working hard to secure a number of foreign recruitments.
They have sought work permits for a former Brazil U19 international as well as a former FC Porto player.
Three Football League players, two wingers and a centre-back are also in discussions with the club.
