Queens Park Rangers agree deal for Wales forward Kieffer Moore
Wigan Athletic have reportedly agreed to sell forward Kieffer Moore to Queens Park Rangers.
The 27-year-old is the Lactic’s top goal scorer this season with nine goals but now looks set to depart the DW Stadium.
WiganToday report that Championship rivals QPR have tabled a bid of £2.5m, the same price Wigan bought him for from Barnsley last summer.
Moore was a target for play-off hopefuls Cardiff City in January but were unsuccessful in their pursuit after an offer of £2m bid was knocked back by Wigan.
Another destination for Moore was Preston North End, however, the Lilywhites boss has played down the rumours
“It’s speculation, we get linked to players all the time,’ said the 39-year-old to Lancashire Live.
“I think that’s just naturally because we’re getting closer to the transfer window.”
“This isn’t a conversation that we’ve had for the last couple of months, but the window opens in 11 days. Wigan are in administration, so his agent will be doing what his agent should be doing.”
