Abercarn United have appointed Dean Kendall as their new first team manager.

He succeeds Andrew Morgan who returned in September 2019 after taking charge from Rhys Carpenter.

Kendall will work alongside Colin Davies, Danny Thomas and Jason Howells at the Caerphilly based side.

The Wales Veterans international has a strong affiliation to Abercarn, having played for and managed the club.

Last season, Abercarn United finished outside of the relegation zone and now Kendall’s job will be to take the club further.

Mark Hopkins, Rob Stapleton and Sean Bateman will continue in their roles with the clubs reserve side.
