Bala Town have announced that the Cardiff City Stadium will be their venue should they be drawn at home in the UEFA Europa League.
The Lakesiders follow in the footsteps of Barry Town United and Connah’s Quay, who have also adopted Cardiff City’s home ground for the 2020/21 European campaign.
They qualified for the Europa League after finishing third in the Cymru Premier.
Bala are due to find out their first qualifying round opponents in the Europa League tomorrow at 12:00.
The fixture is due to take place on Thursday, 27 August, however, the finalised dates and venues will be confirmed on Tuesday, 11 August, with teams hoping to avoid fixture clashes.
In a change to the qualifying format, games will be played on a one-legged basis and will be played behind-closed-doors.
The team drawn out first will receive home advantage and should the game finish level, extra-time and penalties can be used. The away goals rule will not be enforced for these fixtures.
Barry Town United are to also be included in the draw, as they await their potential opponents should they be victorious against NSÍ Runavík.
The New Saints, also in the first qualifying round, are in the draw. Due to their experience, they will be seeded unlike Bala Town, who will potentially face some difficult opponents.
Connah’s Quay are also included in the draw as they await a prospective Champions Path opponent should they fail to beat FK Sarajevo.
